Nik Software has launched a completely new High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging solution, the HDR Efex Pro. It’s HDR processing plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Apple Aperture. HDR Efex Pro enables a wide variety of options, including single-click visual style presets, as well as global adjustments such as exposure, contrast, structure to fine detail contrast, and a new HDR Method option. The HDR Efex Pro is available now with prices at $159.95.
“Our HDR Efex Pro beta group had over 500 photography industry professionals and HDR enthusiasts and the feedback from this group has been both comprehensive and incredibly positive,” said Michael J. Fujifilm has updated its MyFinePix Studio software to support 3D images and 3D movies. The new functions are added as follows: connect two 3D movies, cut a portion of 3D movie, divide a 3D movie to two 2D movies, divide a 3D still image(MPO file) to two JPEG images and photobook function.
Sony has announced its first in-dash car navigation systems incorporate with TomTom’s extensive map database of both U.S. and Canada roads. The XNV-770BT (7-inch capacitive touch screen) and XNV-660BT (6.1-inch capacitive touch screen) navigation systems feature multi-channel playback with Center Speaker Organizer (CSO), creating virtual 5.1 channel surround sound throughout the car, advanced sound engine (ASE) ensures a high-quality, digitally enhanced sound experience and allows users to customize the in-car sound field to match their tastes. Further, Sony’s unique SensMe™ feature has the ability to automatically create custom music playlists and radio channels from a connected music library.
