Canon EOS Rebel T3 now available in assorted colors

Available exclusively from Canon’s online store, the EOS Rebel T3 EF 18-55 IS II Lens Kit in three new color variations – red, brown and metallic gray, in addition to the standard black color.

Announced last February, the Canon Rebel T3 is a replacement for the mid-2008 Rebel XS, and incorporates a range of updates to bring the camera up to date, including a12.2 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor with a DIGIC 4 Image Processor, an ISO of 100 – 6400, EOS Full HD video with expanding recording and in-camera movie editing, along with other popular Rebel T3 features such as:

Nikon D5100 kit now available at Best Buy for $900

Good news, the Nikon D5100 DSLR has just hit the shelves of Best Buy a few days early for $899.99 while the ME-1 external mic won’t be here until the original April 21st launch. Amazon and Adorama are also already taking pre-orders for $800.

The Nikon D5100 wedges itself above the beginner-friendly D3100 and below the D7000, though the camera promises not to skimp on features. Nikon D5100 is a new 16.2 megapixel Digital SLR from Nikon and sports a 3 inch super sharp LCD with vari-angle feature. It also equipped with a new mode of Night Vision, it can capture the live moments even if it happens at low light conditions. This adds uniqueness to the model from its predecessors which record 1080p full HD videos too.

Nintendo Wii price dropping to $196.99 at Toys R Us, Best Buy

It’s still month away for Nintendo Wii price cut, but Best buy and Toy R US can’t wait for this. So both already have the motion-controlled console on sale for $170 today. This doesn’t look like a permanent price cut — note Limited Time Offer!. It’s available in white or black, both variants including Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and a Wii Remote Plus. The older MotionPlus bundle is also available for the same price, if for some reason you’d prefer a bigger controller.

Sony PlayStation 3 shipd reach 50 million units around the globe

Sony has announced that the cumulative sales of the PlayStation 3 surpassed 50 million units shipped around the globe, while the PS Move controller introduced late last year has also kept pace and rounded its own milestone with eight million units shipped in worldwide. The PlayStation Network service also has has more than 75 million registered accounts and operates in 59 countries and regions around the world.

To further expand entertainment experience only possible on PS3, stereoscopic 3D game and Blu-ray 3D features were introduced to the system via a free system software update in April and September 2010 respectively. The feature enables users to enjoy stunningly realistic stereoscopic 3D in their living room on their PS3 system by simply connecting it to a 3D-compatible TV such as 3D “BRAVIA” TV using an HDMI cable.

PSP official knocks $50 off the PSP Go

Sony has dropped price the PSP Go for $150. The 16GB download only console has knocked $50 off, which is a second official drop for the PSP Go since October. The price cut hasn’t been explained but should have the same motives as for the regular PSP. Sony is thought to be dropping prices to keep up sales for customers who would otherwise have held off until the NGP arrived in the fall.

Nintendo 3DS start pre-order at GameStop

GameStop has begun taking pre-orders for the Nintendo 3DS. All its US stores are taking minimum $25 deposits to reserve one of the handhelds, depending on where you are geographically situated. It’s expected to arrive in March.

The Nitendo 3Ds was formally announced in the US at E3 this summer but there’s no word on an official US price. It’s designed video games in full three dimensions without requiring the use of any specialized glasses, like the home consoles. Nintendo demonstrated the ability to take your picture using the 3DS camera and then automatically convert the image into a Mii.

Thrustmaster has unveiled its specially certified for Gran Turismo 5, the T500 RS steering for the PlayStation 3. The device is designed to replicate the ultra realistic simulation and game physics from the game with an equally impressive hardware experience for the most demanding gamers.

The Thrustmaster T500 RS features real metal parts, a force feedback system with a 65W industrial motor and a wheel capable of 1080 degrees of turning. The metal pedal set is quite attractive as well, with adjustable resistances and two different positions: “Floor-mounted” F1 style, or “suspended” GT style.

An Infinite Number of Driving Styles

Size and Dimensions: Completely optimized for GT5, the T500 RS meets the demand for absolute realism. The first thing users will notice when setting it up is its weight: 4.6kg for the wheel, and 7.3kg for the pedal set. Another instantly visible feature is the omnipresent use of metal – for the gearshift levers, the wheel’s central spokes section (30cm in diameter) and the pedal set. This has required a mechanical design with no compromises.

Wheel and Gear levers: Ergonomics was at the heart of the wheel’s development, with an eye on optimizing game play, performance and driving sensations. The sequential gearlevers mounted on the base feature large 17cm levers that are constantly accessible without letting go of the wheel. The wheel itself offers a remarkable 1080° rotation. These 3 full turns are also adjustable, thanks to a motorized stop, allowing the gamer choose the maximum degree of rotation according to the type of racing circuit and the car being driven.

Metal Pedal Set: The spacing and height of the 100% metal pedal set is also fully adjustable and accommodate individual driving preferences by offering 2 positions: “floor-mounted” F1 style, or “suspended” GT style. The brake pedal has been given extra attention, with reinforced and adjustable resistance that lets users perfectly tailor their braking with near surgical precision, and which includes a removable mod. A textured foot rest, also crafted entirely of metal, completes the pedal set. Canon EOS 60D is a mid-level DSLR that come in to replacing the EOS 50D. The EOS 60D features an improved APS-C sized 18.0-megapixel CMOS sensor for tremendous images, a new DIGIC 4 Image Processor for finer detail and excellent color reproduction, improved ISO capabilities from 100-6400 (expandable to 12800, a vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD (1,040,000 dots). The EOS 60D has the new Multi-control Dial that enables users to conveniently operate menus and enter settings with a simple touch.

The EOS 60D can capture 1920 x 1080 Full HD video at frame rates of 30 (29.97 fps), 24 (23.976 fps) and 25.0 frames per second, for up to 4GB per clip. Other recording sizes include HD at 1280 x 720 (50/60 fps) or SD/VGA at 640 x 480 (50/60 fps)–24/30 fps.
